That's the difference between a business run by an educated CEO and one run by a hustler. The hustler will never know when to sell or quit. They are emotionally attached to the business. They want the project to succeed by all means and they forget that exit is also success. In business, some projects MUST FAIL for another to succeed.
Dangote has closed 'shop' on many projects and he will continue to close shops and open new ones. My next post after this will be a list of Dangote's 'failed' or sold businesses in recent times.
I'm writing this to say to one African entrepreneur reading this - closing 'shop' is also a great business plan.
